The word "Coruscating"

I used to think the word coruscating had something to do with abrasion or effacement or rubbing away. Instead, it means (according to the Oxford English Dictionary) to flash, sparkle, or glitter from the Latin coruscare. And so I have given you a living illustration of the coruscating surface of the ocean.
